Picnicwear uses 100% up-cycled vintage materials (with the exception of thread, labels and some trims). Thank you for appreciating their slight imperfections due to use of vintage materials and the nature of being handmade.

RETURN POLICY

Please note that these items are non-returnable or exchangeable - it just isn't logistically viable with the small operation we run! Please ask any and all questions prior to purchase (the BEST time to do this is before the official drops when the items are previewed in the newsletter).

It's especially crucial to take care in reviewing measurements. Since we ARE such a small operation, Dani is typically just an email or DM away if you have any questions regarding sizing or fit.

SHIPPING POLICY

✿  We typically ship once a week! Please contact us prior to ordering if there is any urgency in receiving your package.

✿  We ship USPS within the US and package using recycled paper mailers (sometimes recycled poly mailers). For larger packages, we reuse cardboard boxes.

✿  PLEASE REUSE or RECYCLE ALL PACKAGING.

 

✿  Please note that once your package starts tracking, it is the responsibility of the customer to track the item and to follow up with the shipping service or your local post office should any delays occur.

 

✿  We are NOT responsible for packages that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

 

✿  Shipping delays are particularly common during Holidays. FYI, some packages (although technically shipped), will show as "Ready to Ship" even days after they have been picked up by USPS - this is typically due to the USPS skipping the intake scan; but rest assured it will start tracking soon!

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

 

We can ship almost anywhere in the world!

✿  Please review the information above as it also applies to international orders.

✿  Please expect delays, shipping speed is not within our control (can be up to 50 biz days depending on the country).

✿  It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any and all import duties in order to remit their package (it is suggested to inform yourself on whether to expect duties on your purchases). For example, UK orders - please note you may be subject to VAT charges in order to collect your package! This could be around 20% of the cost of your purchase.

✿  Please do not ask us to mark your order as a gift to avoid duties!

✿  If your shipping cost doesn't look right, or you would like to upgrade your shipping method (for example, to UPS) please contact us PRIOR to purchase.

✿  During Covid, many international packages have been returned back to senders without refunding shipping costs. For the record, this has not happened with any Picnicwear packages! If this DOES happen, the purchaser WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR SHIPPING, but will be refunded for the contents of the package should it make it back to us safely and undamaged.

✿  Contact us directly for a shipping quote if you would like to switch to DHL or UPS. Please expect to pay from $60-$150 USD (depending on the weight of the package and the country).
