✿ This listing is for a made-to-order pair of shorts utilizing a super rare velvet rainbow towel from the 60s/70s as the front two panels. Please read the ENTIRE listing; any canceled orders due to not reading description will be subject to a $5 restocking fee ✿
 
These shorts will be MADE-TO-ORDER with a processing time of approx. 6 weeks. These will ship by the end of October (at the latest, the beginning of Nov).
 
✿ These shorts will be thoughtfully designed and cut by Dani Des Roches in NC and sewn by skilled garment makers in NYC. Our garment makers are experienced and extremely skilled sewists and tailors who are paid a living wage to bring these one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces to life ✿
 
NOTE: Positioning of the rainbow scallops may vary from what you see in the image examples. The scallops may be vertical or horizontal, and this will be decided at the cutting stage. Our pattern cutting (aka "marking") is determined by a combination of (in order of priority):
1) achieving the highest yield of our materials (i.e. the lowest amount of waste)
2) achieving the best design aesthetic
3) avoiding flaws/wear to the best of our ability.
- There ARE a few flaws on the rainbow fabric such as slight fading marks; your shorts may have a small area showing one of these flaws.
- Pocket bag/waistband facing will be selected by our team to coordinate with your shorts.
- Unlike the example shorts, these shorts will not have top stitching, but WILL have a faced waistband vs. foldover (an updated design detail to reduce waist bulk).

✿ Please select one of the size options* based on the Size Guide shown in the last slide. If you are unsure of your size, please measure a pair of your own shorts that fit you (lay it flat, and measure in the places indicated on the Size Guide image) . For further help, please watch this video. We cannot assist with sizing further than the detailed information we provide. "What size you typically wear" etc is not particularily relevant, as sizing is not universal (but measurements are)! ✿
 
*Please note, you want your waist measurement to be somewhere in between the relaxed and stretched measurements. Too close to the relaxed measurement and they will be loose! The waist fits a range but pay special attention to the hip and thigh measurements since there is no stretch there! These are not meant to fit tight so make sure there is some "ease" (i.e. some extra width in the hip and thigh).
 
For Custom (2XL+) sizing (i.e. if you have a hip measurement beyond 48" around), please send an email with your measurements once purchase is made!
