✿ Artisan made with love and care: designed and cut by Dani Des Roches in NC and sewn by skilled garment workers in NYC. Our garment workers are experienced sewists and tailors who are paid a living wage to bring these one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces to life ✿
 
This handbag one-of-one and made from vintage cotton towels and vintage cotton fabric (for the pocket bags) - the drawcords are organic cottom and the beads are deadstock wood macrame beads.
 
Note - with heavy use the drawcords can wear out. I suggest keeping the drawcords INSIDE the bag (see second image) for frequent use/going in-and-out of the bag in order to prolong it's life.

  • All fabric/trims used are pre-washed vintage or deadstock. 

    We recommend a spot clean for any stains. When necessary, we recommend hand washing with mild detergent, with similar colors or machine washing on gentle (best to use a delicates bag since the cords could get tangled - remove the beads first and re-knot so they don't fray). Hang or lay flat to dry. Steam or iron low if necessary - DO NOT iron over the label (it will get angry and shrivel up).
